Joseph Emmett is a leading authority on the transformative wisdom of Vedanta, an ancient Indian philosophy originating in the Himalayas over 5,000 years ago. Vedanta offers a timeless framework for self-inquiry. As the wellspring of Eastern thought, it reveals how to remain fully engaged in life while cultivating inner clarity, balance, and spiritual awareness.
Joseph brings more than three decades of dedicated study and teaching to his work, including many years as a senior disciple of Vedanta master Swami A. Parthasarathy.
He spent over a decade immersed in study and practice at Swamiji’s Vedanta Academy in India.
Joseph is the founder of a US-based non-profit committed to sharing Vedanta globally, and continues to reach international audiences through his podcast, Yoga for Your Intellect.
