Tulku Ngawang was recognised at the age of eight as a reincarnated spiritual leader by the revered Tibetan Buddhist master Kyabje Trulshik Rinpoche. He has devoted more than 30 years to the study, practice and teaching of Buddhist philosophy. Today, he serves as the spiritual head of Guru Kubum Taklung Sang Choes Monastery in his birthplace of Sikkim, India.
